Background for Jane

Jane Gardner has been in the property industry since the 80s and has worked within independent, franchised and corporate estate agencies. She has started up numerous businesses which have gone on to be incredibly successful and built an award winning lettings agency “Sewell & Gardner” in 2002, selling to Countrywide plc at the end of 2014.

During her years in estate agency Jane has met with many influential people and is now available to bring her expertise and introduce you to her associates in order to help make your estate agency the best it can be and to work on your growth strategy for the coming years. Jane helps estate agency businesses, individuals and organisation to highlight areas of improvement within their business, build a plan to implement change in order to assist growth or, alternatively, work towards an exit strategy, ensuring that all compliance is covered.

Jane is on the NFoPP exam board for the lettings technical awards and was the first in the UK to pass the Level 4 Certificate in Residential Lettings & Property Management. Jane is a member of The Property Academy Mastermind Group for Lettings & Property Management and has spoken about her career at the Lettings Live conference in 2015.

Sewell & Gardner sales and lettings won over 40 industry awards from 2008-2014 including the prestigious Overall Letting Agency of the Year at The Times & Sunday Times awards in 2013, Best UK Small Estate Agency 2012 and the Gold Grand Prix Award for Best UK Sales & Lettings Agency at the ESTAs in the same year.  Jane Gardner & Alex Sewell started the business in 2002 under the franchise of Parkheath, and re-branded to Sewell & Gardner at the beginning of 2010.  With offices based in Rickmansworth, Chorleywood, Watford & Croxley Green, Sewell & Gardner continues as a sales agency now that the lettings business has been sold to Countrywide and re-branded as Hetheringtons.  Alex Sewell remains at the helm of the sales team, while Jane Gardner now consults with other businesses such as Finders Keepers (Oxon), Mundy’s (Lincs), X1 (LIverpool & Manchester), Grisdales (Cumbria), Northfields (Ealing), Lawrence Rand (Ruislip), Oasis (Staines), Anthony Pepe (Highbury), Breckon & Breckon (Oxford), Maxine Lester Residential (Cambs), Haus (Leeds)…

JANE'S CONSULTATION DAYS

All new clients will receive a FREE 1 HOUR consultation appointment in order to discuss their particular requirements and for us to get a feel for the business, whilst ascertaining if we do indeed have the tools to assist you.  Our particular approach is based heavily upon the need for exceptional customer service and commitment from senior management, fully engaging all members of staff from part time negotiators, accounts and administrative teams, through to property managers, lettings and sales consultants, and branch or regional managers. Without your full commitment to the ideas and plans we make, I’m afraid your investment with us will be ineffectual.

After your initial consultation you will receive a brief overview of our meeting and the main points raised, along with our structure for moving forward and our hourly, daily or monthly rates as a guideline for further discussion.   At this stage you will not be given suggestions or recommendations, they will come as we work alongside you and your team.

Jane’s daily price £1,075 (10am to 5pm)

Discount of 7% applies if 2 days/month booked
