Content for letting agents

Today has been a day of writing! I have been putting together a few new estate agency brochures and that means a lot of research and checking legal updates to make sure that every word is up to date and all current legislation is correct. It is a job I enjoy, firstly I get to be creative, secondly, I get to make sure my legislation knowledge is on point – of course this is pretty important as I shall have a new round of Level 4 Residential Lettings and Property Management certificates to mark at the end of this month.

So I thought I would showcase a couple of the new booklets I have available, these will be bespoke to your agency colours, fonts and your branding but they will make a great addition to your presentations and a good download on your website, where you can use them for data capture and then for your lead source funnel (GDPR permitting).

Lettings Obligation Booklets now available

In an age where everything is online and sometimes it feels as though you are pretty disposable unless you are prepared to drop everything now and be as cheap as chips, it can really make you stand out from the crowd if you are able to offer something more tangible and informative, such as a nice glossy leaflet or booklet!  Not only will you look incredibly professional and knowledgeable, but it will really help you to hold those fees and show what you are worth.  Let’s face it, if you can go out of the way to present your agency in such a great light – most likely when others do not – that will speak volumes about your property business.

All of this is probably why I am finding the content-writing side of our Social Angels business is in demand!  I totally get that it is time-consuming to sit and write about the myriad of legislation covering our industry, and, let’s face it, if you are not great at grammar, spelling, and designing and do not have a marketing team on hand to do this for you, then you could well be looking for someone to help you out.  So that is where I come in!

Preparing your home for marketing estate agency literature

PREPARING YOUR PROPERTY FOR MARKETING

In my “many” years as an estate agent, running my own business and more often than not, the person heading out on a market appraisal, I have heavily relied on my written brochures.

I totally understand that sometimes people are not ready to make the decision to sell or let their property on the spot (even if they have needed you to book in the valuation ‘right now’) or perhaps they have called out a few agents for comparisons – and that really is where the literature you ‘leave behind’ can come in very handy.

Sitting on the coffee table it is there to be glanced at over the coming days (or weeks sometimes) and is a constant reminder of you and your brand.  It gives you a real air of authority and in a busy market place it really can make you stand out from the crowd.

It is also great to offer complicated information in an informative and engaging way, and truly a ‘picture is worth a thousand words’ according to the experts:  “The picture superiority effect, based on experimentation going back into the 1960s, refers to the considerable evidence that images are more likely to be remembered than words.” [The Learning Guild].  That is why brochures with pictures and words together will usually fare better than a few A4 pages crammed with tiny text.

So if you would like informative information written for your agency, then you have come to the right place.  You can choose from our template brochures or have something completely bespoke written just for you.
