Over the week beginning 2nd July to 6 July we have had the delightful Maddie Finnett with us on work experience here from The Chalk Hills Academy in Luton, and below she has written a lovely blog about her time with us:
Day one I photoshopped an ‘open house poster’ for the JP Gardner Property FaceBook page (be sure to check that out) which we used to promote an open house day at a house in Cassiobury. I also went out with Halee around the local area posting JP Gardner advertising postscards around the streets of Watford, which was perfect in this heatwave, and we took the office dog Bella out with us. Then I made a promotional boomerang video for Instagram and FaceBook.
I also spoke on the phone to some of the JPG clients and asked them 3 questions:
- What does their company do
- How they came to work for JPG and what we do for them
- How they rate the success of what JPG does
First up to answer the questions was Richard Palfreeman from Northfields Estate Agents and he said his company sells and rents houses and they have been doing this, in the Ealing area for 31 years. They came to work with the JPG through a mutual membership of The Property Academy where Richard met Jane Gardner. He loves that JPG are an award-winning company with a lovely team and they do everything digital, such as web design and social media and Google ads for his company. He also said he has known Jane for many years and totally trusts her as she is very knowledgeable about the property market. He rates the success of what JPG does by seeing how many views their website accumulates through the different media channels, how many customers mention their social media and, of course, their great customers reviews.
Then I called Laura Butler from Lawrence Rand Estate Agents. Laura answered the questions and she said that she works for a local estate agents and that JPGardner & Associates do all their social media and video production. George & Joe from the team comes out to them once a month to film lots of different videos for their website and social media platforms, which Joe manages every day. They measure the success on how many people visit their website and it gets on average 33,000 page visits a month.
Finally, I have had a picture taken with the team and have really enjoyed my week at JPG…
